Tough Love Sock
January 16. 2013
I know I have made a good decision to take my business out of a brick and mortar shop. I am so much more relaxed, but more importantly, I feel like knitting. I have so many things that I want to knit...
I just received my first shipment of yarn. It is so much fun opening those boxes!
Now I can start my "Lanesplitter". I must not be tempted by the beautiful colours in Diamond Luxury Collection Foot Loose. Nor the Debbie Bliss Eco Baby....focus, focus...at least until the Malabrigo 4 book arrives...

I hope everyone has had a wonderful holiday and had lots of time to celebrate, rest, and of course knit.
Although there were lots of preparations and goings on at my house, I must admit I was always thinking about Yarn Indulgences and what I wanted to do with the business.
I will be developing a webpage complete with online ordering. I hope to find studio space for classes, demonstrations and knit and chats.
In the meantime, all my distributors would love to continue to work with me to provide you with as many of your knitting needs as possible.

If there is anything that I can find for you please email for payment and shipping options.
Happy New Year
December 8, 2012
Thankyou to everyone for their support over the last 5 years. It has been an amazing journey. The market location built up a community that shocked and surprised me with all their comments over the last 3-4 weeks. I had no idea how my shop influenced so many people.
Because of this show of support I will be considering how I can continue to be a local yarn shop for this area.
Keep an eye on the blog in the new year for more info.
Take care, happy holidays, and best wishes,

If spring magazines are arriving that must mean that spring will soon be here. Yeah! This issue of Debbie Bliss`s magazine is full of projects that I would like to do. Starting with some oh so delicate mohair lace cardigans to my all time favorite- Baby Cashmerino or Eco Cotton dresses.
Have a look here!
Please see our Classes page for a list of topics, dates and times.
Check out this review. We have all colours in stock. This yarn is as beautiful as Clara suggests!

This has been a very busy few months and it looks like April will be just as busy! I have the pleasure of working with the Kitchener Public Library as the Artist in Residence for April. Check out their calendar of events.
Thanks to Anandi, Yarn Indulgences will be on Grand River Living on Rogers TV! First showing will be Tuesday, March 23, at 12:30pm with about 15 other repeats over the next week. Email for exact times if you want to try and catch it. Of course, I will order a copy of the story, for the memory book!
Thanks a million Anandi!
All of the existing lines have brought out amazing new colours but I am most impressed with the new Debbie Bliss Eco Baby. This is a continuation of her Fairtrade Organic cotton line and I immediately started a little baby tunic! The celery green colour just screamed spring. Have a look http://www.diamondyarn.com/ or better yet drop in and see/feel it! Of course there is a new baby book on the way too!
